Tearsheet ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Shopify application for generating PDF product tearsheets.
Store Information: When you install our app, we access your Shopify store name, email address, and store URL to provide our services.
Product Data: We access your product information (titles, descriptions, images, prices, variants, and metafields) solely to generate PDF tearsheets as requested by you.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our app, including templates created and PDFs generated, to improve our services.
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain our PDF generation service
- Save your template configurations
- Process billing through Shopify's billing system
- Improve and optimize our application
- Respond to your support requests
Your template configurations are stored securely in our database. Product data is accessed in real-time from Shopify and is not permanently stored by us. Generated PDFs are created on-demand and are not stored on our servers after delivery.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication through Shopify's OAuth system.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your data is only shared with:
- Shopify: For authentication and billing purposes
- Hosting providers: Our infrastructure partners who help us deliver the service (bound by confidentiality agreements)

- Request deletion of your data
- Uninstall the app at any time, which will remove your templates and settings
We retain your template data for as long as the app is installed on your store. Upon uninstallation, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it longer.
Our application uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Our service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
